Welcome. This is the first post on mueez.tech, and it is appropriately a post about the site itself.
I am a full-stack developer with most of my recent production work in .NET Core and Angular, currently completing an MSc in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Aberdeen. The obvious choice would have been to build this site in my work stack. I deliberately chose not to.
Why PHP, why MySQL
A portfolio is a content site, not an application. Procedural PHP on MySQL is honest, fast to ship, and easy to host anywhere — exactly what a personal site should be. It also lets me focus on what actually gets me hired: the writing, the project case studies, and the research notes — rather than wrestling with deployment.
What to expect here
One technical post every two weeks, alternating between two tracks. The first is bridging industry and AI: lessons from shipping ML.NET in production, integration patterns, what worked and what did not. The second is notes from the MSc — papers I am reading, concepts I am working through, ideas I want to test.
If that sounds useful, the newsletter goes out once a month with the highlights. Otherwise, the RSS feed and this page will do the job.
